Incompetence with Confidence

The cat was let out of the bag this week as Americans received a dose of reality from United States Department of Homeland Security Report on Rightwing Extremism. I found no surprises in the report. This is what I have been writing of for quite some time. For those new to this blog, the DHS strategy is consistent with the Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy in which you will find the Alliance of Civilizations as the centerpiece. Below are links to the counter-terrorism pieces I published earlier:

Who are the targets of the Department of Homeland Security? It is none other than individuals who politically dissent and/or who believe in an “end of days” theology. Imagine that. I find it incredible that the people in these counter-terrorism positions are shocked that one might believe in an “end of days” scenario. Karen Armstrong, for example, bitter over her life in a convent seeks to incite hatred against Christians by leveling false charges of anti-Semitism and accusations that Christians oppose democracy. It’s quite an absurd notion that Christians would oppose a form of government that permits religious freedom. It’s the Alliance’s form of democracy—a safe democracy—which Christians oppose as its intent is to unify the state and religion into one cohesive unit. No more separation of church and state there. One might look at Barbara Marx Hubbard who presented her Citizens Solutions Councils to be incorporated into the Office of the Presidency. Hubbard’s writings are terroristic in nature as they intend to incite violence against the “egocentric” one half of the world’s population and advocates destruction of this “defective seed” from the social body. But let’s not go overboard here, that couldn’t possibly be reason for concern.

Janet Napolitano stands behind the content of the Department’s report. Let’s look a bit further at who is on the list of political enemies or those prone to violent radicalization:

  • Individuals concerned with Second Amendment rights (right to bear arms);
  • Veterans;
  • Individuals critical of the first black president’s policies;
  • Individuals concerned with single issues such as abortion, gay marriage, etc.
  • Individuals who believe the old conspiracy theories of the ‘90s—that a “New World Order” would emerge following an economic crisis; etc. etc.

Wait! I fit several of those categories. But I’m starting to feel a little more at ease that I may be able to remove myself from the conspiracy theory category. It looks like I might be able to banish it back into the ‘90s and start to relax in the peace and security of these present moments. But first I need to verify, one can’t be too careful. So I decided to search various web sites for “global governance”. The world body of the United Nations might be a good starting point in seeking that comfort. Hmm, no comfort there: 1,710 documents found containing the words global governance and 410 containing new world order.

Disappointed, I decided to travel down the electronic boulevard to the Brookings Institute because I know they are in “the know”. No comfort there either—2,140 documents related to global governance. And they’re more concerned about securing the world than the Department of Homeland Security. Don't you just really feel secure knowing these people are securing the world?

By now I’m feeling let down. Perhaps Janet Napolitano is plain incompetent. Well, at least she’s confidently incompetent. But heck, maybe the United Nations and the Brookings Institute are conspiracy theorists too, so she deserves maybe one final chance. I decided to head over to the electronic Main Street of Amazon dot com. There I found 6,561 publications on global governance. Sorry Janet, you don't know what you're talking about on this one.

Responding to heavy criticism, the Department of Homeland Security's response somewhat resembles this...

Heck wiff em'. / tony in vermont. This is getting to be too much. The advesary is one smooth operator fooling all these intelligent people. At this point, i pray for some truth to enter their minds to wake them up to God Allmighty and His ultimate desire to save through Jesus. If they absoulutely refuse, then i have to say, Heck wiff em! thanks Rich, this is entirely interesting beyond anything known to man in my book, that is as it relates to the Truth of Our Father, His Son Jesus and His written word...YA-HOO, it's real and we truely have something better( clean and wholesome ) to look forward to, of eternal nature and value! and it's coming soon, imagine that!! Were rich in Christ Jesus. We have WON!! ALL PRAISE AND HONOR TO YOU LORD GOD...AND ALL THANKS! This Gospel is the GOOD NEWS INDEED. I'M ASTOUNDED!

Excellent Rich! I'm so glad your schedule has opened allowing you the opportunity to write again.

I know you're very aware that the framework for the "plan" has long been constructed. Details for full implementation are now spoken of publicly and without apology by
world leaders. Resistance to global governance has, for the most part, been neutralized. I have surmised, this may be due in large part to the introduction and acceptance by many of a "new" spiritual paradigm. We may be only one global catastrophe away from the final step in a process of marginalization. It hasn't really been a "secret" conspiracy for some time - at least not to those who are willing to pay attention.

From Chapter XV. 'Early constructive work of the open conspiracy'

"The passage from the partial anticipations of the Open Conspiracy that already abound everywhere to its complete and completely self-conscious statement may be made by almost imperceptible degrees. To-day it may seem no more than a visionary idea; to-morrow it may be realized as a world-wide force of opinion and will. People will pass with no great inconsistency from saying that the Open Conspiracy is impossible to saying that it has always been plain and clear to them, that to this fashion they have shaped their lives as long as they can remember."

I'm confused, Rich. I didn't read anywhere in that Washington Times article that mentioned "end of days" believers. Unless I missed it. Maybe you could help me find where it is. All I read was that Homeland Security was keeping an eye on individuals who could be plotting some type of violence which is a public safety issue. I think you are safe, unless you're planning a "Timothy McVeigh" or something like that nut that shot those police officers in Pennsyvania.

Confused, glad to clear things up. Read page 4 of the report, it is there.

Bill Clinton said: “Eye hath not seen, ear hath not heard, nor has it entered the mind of men what we can do for ourselves.” I believe that is the quote from the Democrat convention in 1991. That blasphemy sums up what God will allow men to do: take ostensible control of their lives; too bad, for it is like anarchy, it is only the short phase before totalitarianism.
What is sad is that if we Christians were really lead of the Spirit it would not be that way; which reminds me of when Christ Jesus referred to the people of Israel not knowing “the time of thy visitation.”
Rudi, you nailed it with the quote from H.G. Wells!

Despite my sarcastic response to the DHS report and despite their excuse that the report was a blunder, I believe they knew exactly what they were doing.

At the 2005 Club of Madrid Counter-Terrorism Conference, the Kofi Annan was directed for formulate a global counter-terrorism strategy based upon the Club’s outcome documents. The direction was to combat separatist ideologies which conflict with the collective common humanity. Use of biometric technology and the requirement of travel papers were among the proposals. Bill Clinton was the Honorary President of the Club of Madrid at that time.

Bill Clinton later gave a speech where he said that diversity is good but, in the interest of the collective, separatist ideology must be discarded. The Department of Homeland Security’s report very similarly identifies separatist ideologies which are prone to violent radicalization. Make no mistake; this report targeted the global government’s political enemies all the while denying the existence of the emerged regime. In the ‘80s, the argument was to deny the existence of global governance. In the ‘90s the argument shifted away from whether or not it existed to whether or not it was a good thing. We’ve now come full circle one again to denial, hence my sarcastic response.

Last year the political left was rightfully concerned over the Department of Homeland Security and FBI’s announcement that it was building a vast biometric database which would be used to track the population. It is known as “Server in the Sky” and has the capacity to interlock with the European Union’s Schengen System (a.k.a., Big Brother).

http://tinyurl.com/d2en8h

This is more serious than people might think and not only for the political right. While the most recent DHS report was directed towards the right, I have read other materials which indicate the political left ought to be equally concerned.

I have another thought on the tea party situation. I went to the one in Joliet, IL. As usual I went to see what was going on and gather up what I call "street paper" to see who is pushing what. You can learn a lot from seeing where the networking is taking place.

The crowd was family style with young kids and parents. Unlike leftist protests, the signs were homemade. There was no demonization taking place, no attacks on Obama, just concern about money and taxation that was out of control.

The conservative media carried the story as if all of the hundreds of meetings were spontaneously run by amateurs. No research on who set up the meetings, just nonsense speculation.

Sorry, I don't buy that. There are networks who have reason to tap into the great discontent. One, obviously, is the Republican party that needs to gather followers around a cause.

Another is the growing antisemitic network which includes Ron Paul's intact network. And they have the money. Remember Paul raised a huge amount of money and spent very little. http://www.ronpaulmoneybomb.com/ Paul's following included many activists as well as innocents who were new to rebellion, kind of like those who showed up in Joliet.

Nothing was said that would cause concern, but those there were encouraged to leave their names, addresses, email addresses so that they would be made aware of new activity.

One of the individuals there was gathering names for the CampaignforLiberty.com. They want to audit the Federal Reserve. Yah right! This is a Ron Paul operation, one with international connections.
http://www.campaignforliberty.com/kb.php#intl

Glen Beck's
http://912petitions.com/ was represented. They claim over 577,000 members, but what they will do with them is open.

There was a man handing out a magazine I hadn't seen before, Republic Magazine. Republicmagazine.com. It is a glossy, well-designed 48 page magazine in its 14th issue. Again, this appears to be a Ron Paul spinoff. Issue #7, which is what was being handed out, had articles which were standard for a conservative magazine. A search on some of the contributing writers however showed a pattern of connecting with the antisemitic conspiracy network. In line with this was an ad for Nexus magazine which is known as a New Age conspiracy oriented magazine.

There is a large network of antisemitic, "directed to conservatives" websites, radio shows, etc. I am not in a position to follow all of the details of this rather underground network except for what is on the internet, but after a while the names become familiar and expected. This group is skilled, seductive and manipulative enough to attract the huge numbers of people who are unhappy with what is going on in the government and larger culture.

There is much information on connection beween the tea parties and Ron Paul on the internet for those who want to explore further. Although Ron Paul innocents claim he had nothing to do with the followers attracted to his movement, details indicate otherwise

Isn't it strange that the MSM didn't report on this Ron Paul connection?

What should those involved look for? Bait and switch techniques where the concerns they are interested in are channeled into the goals of the organization leading.

The New Age movement is a resurgence of Nazism. The people attracted to the Nazi movement in Germany weren't given what they were promised.

Rudi,
Just listening to Obama's speech, "the walls must come down"...the walls of religion... wonder what kind of beast or what kind of tower will be built.. Never heard it, in its entirety..

A couple of Scriptural views about "taking walls down" v.s. being "set apart".

2Cor. 6:16-18 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,
“I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
“Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord.
“AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN;
And I will welcome you. And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,”
Says the Lord Almighty.

and as for the nations:

Deut. 32:8 “When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance,
When He separated the sons of man,
He set the boundaries of the peoples
According to the number of the sons of Israel.

Man just never learns, does he?

Gen. 11:6 The LORD said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.

Sadly, as I mentioned over on Constance's post it looks like the Tower of religious Babel is being built by organizations like ONE in keeping with the UN Millennial Development Goals, which Obama will support.

Here's his video with ONE Campaign who has sponsors like the Islamic Development Bank, Reform Judaism, Catholics, Baptists, Methodists, etc, etc,

This is Chuck Baldwin's reading list.
Baldwin's emailing are squeaky clean. When I saw Eustace Mullin's book on his reading list, I began to question his stands.

Chuck Baldwin and Ron Paul are networked together on various matters. While the purity of their causes may seem admirable, those getting involved more deeply might find themselves attracted to stronger measures being promoted to stop the aggressive federal government behavior.

I am disappointed that mainstream conservative observers do not point out what is happening to their followers when they present the Homeland Security paper. Instead what they are developing is an US vs THEM mindset which will prove to be harden more aggressive minds if times become harder. This in turn can provide reasons for the New Age leadership to take away freedoms from the general public in the name of safety.

Should we avoid "tea party" meetings? No. More peaceful solutions for the release of frustrations with what is going on in D.C. need to be explored.

"Points of Light Institute was created by the merger of the Points of Light Foundation and Hands On Network in August 2007. The result is a powerful, integrated national organization with a global focus to redefine volunteerism and civic engagement for the 21st century, putting people at the center of community problem solving. Our vision is that one day every person will discover their power to make a difference, creating healthy communities in vibrant democracies around the world. An excellent article on the growing problem of speech control with penalties in Britain, found at Atlas Shrugs.
http://tinyurl.com/c8abec

"BRITAIN appears to be evolving into the first modern soft totalitarian state. As a sometime teacher of political science and international law, I do not use the term totalitarian loosely.

"There are no concentration camps or gulags but there are thought police with unprecedented powers to dictate ways of thinking and sniff out heresy, and there can be harsh punishments for dissent. ..."

Being forced to be politically correct is a bad enough attack on freedom, but when it is coupled with penalties, you know thing are really bad.

How does this fit in with the AOC? Remember that one of the their goals is to determine how religion is to be taught, even in religious schools.

I've been reading more headlines today regarding Janet Napolitano's statements on borders.

http://tinyurl.com/c9xv69

She is definitely in the hot seat. I myself have heaped on the criticism in probably a more sarcastic way than I should have. In fairness to her, much of the counter-terrorism material contained in the report on right wing extremism originated under secretary Chertoff who closely mimicked the European Union's counter-terrorism strategy. This is not to say the present administration is not operating with like mind.

I pray this experience opens Ms. Napolitano's eyes to how dangerously close we have stepped towards totalitarianism.

Joyce, it looks as if they borrowed the phrase as a headline. This is possible as Bush popularlized it in the early '90s and it looks as if their movement started in 1997. I don't see the connection to the major Points of Light occult theme however. Can you make that connection in your own words?

Dorothy,

The link you posted to the Lucis Trust meditation is an interesting read. Especially, "See all the group members as points of light and imagine that all these points of light are attracted toward a luminous center. When the fusion in the center is realized, stay stabilized in this center. From this center will the alignment begin."

What the meditation is missing is the final outcome. Lucis Trust rewards its initiates with "each contact with the Initiator leads the initiate closer to the centre of pure darkness--a darkness which is the very antithesis of darkness as the non-initiate and the unenlightened understand. It is a centre or point of such intense brilliance that everything fades out and at the place of tension, and at that darkest point, let the group see a point of clear cold fire."

Eternal fire and ice? No thanks.

The Masonic linkages are so very clear in this also. Per Bailey, "the Masonic Organization is the custodian of the law; it is the home of the Mysteries and the seat of initiation..... It holds in its symbolism the ritual of Deity, and the way of salvation is pictorially preserved in the work in the lodges. The methods of Deity are demonstrated in its Temples, and under the All seeing Eye the work can go forward....... Masonry is a far more occult organization than can be realized, and is intended to be the training school for the coming advanced occultists."

Excellent work Dorothy.

No, I don't think it is borrowed phrase.. From what I remember a number of years back it was tied into Bush's 1000 points of light, but that was quite a few years ago so I'm not sure I can make the exact connection for you.

This connection might help though:

http://tiny.cc/gzhdJ

I know Niki Raapana is not one of your favorites, but she has a lot to say about Communitarianism:

http://nord.twu.net/acl/commquotes.html

http://tiny.cc/yjUYn

and of course Amitai Etzioni is tied into Bush and his 1000 points of light very nicely.. This is a good article:

http://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/communitarian/niki.htm

http://tiny.cc/KXl12

So to go back to the connection between 1000 points of Light and Islam 15 or so years ago, one can only guess.

Joyce

Rich Peterson - Medford said...

Joyce,

Niki Raapana's site is a place I would not direct readers regardless of what she has to say. Her analysis of the global legal structure is nothing other researchers haven't uncovered. I have significant differences in conclusions which I had attempted to discuss with Raapana several months ago only to receive no response. Despite her argument "I'm not anti-Semitic, I'm anti-Zionist" I find her conclusions to be extremely anti-Semitic.

I know Constance has said of Raapana take the wheat and leave the chaff. That might be ok for researchers already familiar with the material but I would never recommend her web site to people just becoming familiar with global governance.

Rich

Joyce said...

Rich,
That is not a recommendation of her site...I haven't read much of Niki's stuff at all, but I heard that she is anti-semitic, so that's a good enough reason to stay away.. I'm a Jew by the way, and don't have much patience with anti-semitism since many from my family were killed in the Shoah..

I was trying to respond to Dorothy's question about specific connections between Islam and 1000 points of light, and quite honestly there isn't a lot on the web.. I just know that about 15 years ago I heard that Bush was pushing this idea and that Muslims were trying jump on the bandwagon and set up lots of little shops in community with the ultimate goal of having mosques in these neighborhoods..

I know the thousand points of light is occult and has connections to Bailey, I believe Blavatsky and Freemasonry and I know there is a connection in Europe that I also saw a number of years ago, but have not been able to track down on the web..

Personally, I have not seen Niki's anti-semitic comments, but that is only because I really have not read any of her writing other than the two articles that I just posted. At the time when the controversy was going on, I just didn't take the time to follow it..

I probably should take a look because it's important...so thanks for the reminder.

And for those who celebrate here... I know Dorothy does..

Joyce, you didn't answer the question. You have only made excuses for posting information you were unfamiliar with except superficially. I only asked that you justify your post suggesting there was a connection between the Islamic use of the words and the occult source of the words. This you were unable to do which leaves the question why you bothered to post the information. Other than your constant information about the Jerusalem Academy, I would suggest you need to do a lot more research on the New Age movement, antisemitism, Judaism, Christianity and many other topics discussed here before posting superficial comments. Otherwise you can make the mistake of leading others in directions that are dangerous to Christians and Jews as in the case of Raapana.

Dorothy,
I'm sorry that I didn't put that together for you in a more coherent format so that you could understand. Amatai Etzioni worked with George Bush Sr. on the Points of Light:

You can read it in his own words here:

http://tiny.cc/J5ZzQ

Now, take another look at the article about Islam and Turkey that I posted earlier:

http://www.fethullahgulen.org/conference-papers/peaceful-coexistence/2500-a-communitarian-imperative-fethullah-gulens-modern-turkey-as-a-model.html

http://tiny.cc/INob0

Read some of Etzioni's ideas about Islam in the society...not very different from the CFR's ideas which we see outlined in Clash of Civilzations, subsequently addressed by the UN's Alliance of Civilizations:

http://tiny.cc/BjfB3
http://www.gwu.edu/~ccps/etzioni/A309.pdf

Etzioni thinks Communitarian systems are the answer to the social problems:

http://tiny.cc/kk6Ze

He was at the AoC meeting:

http://www.gwu.edu/~ccps/ACOMMUNITARIANLETTER5.htm

http://tiny.cc/g8fi1

I think if I were you, I'd take a more careful look at him since his biography and his connections are impressive..

http://amitaietzioni.org/biography.html

http://tiny.cc/uThmH

Now, his positions about how he feels religion , including Islam should function in a society fit in perfectly with the very occult UN themes...His experiences in both academia and government, are quite impressive.

I don't think we will find any concrete information on Bush Sr 1000 Points of Light and Islam on the web. That would be far too damaging.. You'll just have to examine the evidence yourself and take my word for it that there were connections...

As for the occult aspect.... building these communitarian systems is part of the UN agenda, which is occult to the core.

I hope you can see it now...

Well I hate to do this, but I am going to link this stuff back to Jerusalem Academy because I can't seem to get away from these Whirling Dervishes ( sufism) which Heinrich Benedikt is also interested in.. From the Interfaith Dialogue website, we link to:

and from Atlas foundations site we find:

you can read for yourself their goals, but from the book on their site"Dialogue of Civilizations" we find Rice University's Boniuk Center:

from Boniuk's link:

http://tiny.cc/rtymb

...we connections to Marathon Oil, the Universalist Church, Coexist which is connected to to Tony Blair's Faith Foundation, etc..

Now read down on Bjorn's blog and you will discover some connections between Blavatsky and sufism:

http://freiberg.blogspot.com/2008/09/egypt-mermaid-sufi-dancing-bandirma.html

http://tiny.cc/u6beJ

and if you read my comments on the blog, I link it back to Jerusalem Academy..but of course there are lots of other connections too..

Of course when Bjorn translated Heinrich Eliyahu Benedikt's book, he ties him in very nicely to Theosophy, so we shouldn't be surprised by these connections..

I guess the point is that it is all the same garbage. This idea of dialoging and finally practicing meditative and mystical traditions as I once said and will say again is the glue to unite the religions. It seems to me this idea of communitarianism is designed to provide the social reasons for union in this whole area of uniting cultures, but that ultimately leads to the spiritual aspects, under the guise of whirling dervishes or meditation or sacred music...It almost doesn't matter because Satan is not interested in how he deceives people, as long as he does.

Alice Bailey too, expressed the idea that getting "world servers" to aspire to these ideals of Theosophy did not require the understanding of the servers, just their participation.

http://www.goodwill.f9.co.uk/ngws.htm
http://tiny.cc/Qjorh

and from Goodwill's site, of course we see one of the "problems" is the churches and organized religion:

http://tiny.cc/hDgjD

Now, here's a group dedicated to Alice Bailey's goals:

http://www.planetaryworldservice.org/
Here's what they think of Obama:

And here's their university:

and here's their mission statement, the famous 7 rays of course:

and in case you think that none of this has anything to do with the original topic, watch this short video off of the Planetary World Service site, called "the Clash of Civilizations" so you can understand how it all fits together:

and from Points of Light Foundation we have Global Peace Day:

Here are their links:

So let's look at some of the links:

At the Global Peace festival is everyone and their uncle, including Rev Sun Myung Moon:

Under Case Foundation, which is a sponsor of Points of Light, there is Buxton Initiative, which I've seen before..

Some of its other sponsors:

http://www.icrd.org/

They have some heavy hitters on their board, Muslim and otherwise:

...so the list just goes on and on.

Thanks for the good lead Dorothy.. Haven't thought about 1000 points of Light in a few years and I didn't realize it was connected to Obama now, so this fits perfectly. I think we are just beginning to scratch the surface though.

Joyce, your style of posting appears to be to throw the everything, including the kitchen sink, into huge long posts so the less educated think you know a lot about a topic. No, I will not take your word for it nor will I take the time to delve into the many links you give. I've done that in the past and found very little of value.

Why? Because anyone who has researched the New Age movement as I have knows the number of supporting organizations is huge. The second edition of Whole Again gave 3,000 links. There are websites such as Global Oneness http://www.experiencefestival.com/ that give hundreds of links. I have a huge number of bookmarks on the New Age movement that I can turn to if I'm bored. I don't want to play "look what I've found" with you. You have no credentials that would encourage me to do that.

If you have something to say, why not say it succinctly, that is concisely and precisely, expand on it and then give a supporting link or two. It would show you've mastered the information you are presenting.

Your long, useless posts only detract from more valuable contributions. Many of us believe that is their goal.

Concisely and precisely put, consider your input ignored by me.

Dorothy,

Don't worry about reading my long post with all the links..It would probably not mean anything to you.

I just want to thank you again though because if you hadn't read Niki Raapana for me, we would never have discovered that the 1000 points of Light is alive and well..since I don't read Niki and only discovered her accidently when I plugged "1000 points of Light" into my search engine, after you pointed it out...

There is nothing for you to believe me about, because I haven't really shared the story behind 1000 points of light, but it was very helpful for me and connected a few dots...things that I hadn't thought about in a long time.. I enjoyed doing the research, because it confirmed most of my suspicions..

Thanks for gleaning that wheat from Niki and leaving her chaff!

Joyce,
Don't distort what is being posted for whatever your own goals are. I bounced off the bill being signed by Obama on the volunteer program, and had my background information on Bush's use of the term in the past for the same goals. Only you know why, but you brought Raapana into the picture.

We do not work together. You bounced off my information for your own reasons, presenting a convoluted chop suey mix of information that had nothing to do with what I posted.

Based on this last post of yours, you continue to have nothing to offer except a need for attention.

Rich,
I noticed you commented earlier about the Star News vox pops. I too am from the area and did notice that their headline, "Pay No Attention to the Bush Deficits Behind the Curtain" seems to be a play on your current post. It's too bad that this newspaper disregards legitimate research and would rather resort to National Enquirer standards!

You can change blogs, but your character is just as feisty as ever.. You crack me up. Such a character...

Hope all is well and that you had a nice Shabbat...

Dear 11:59 AM

You are among several of the readers from within this community. Thanks for reading.

A little history on my post directed to the Star News: It is in response to a letter I sent newspaper owner Carol O’Leary regarding the headlines they regularly assign my Vox Pops submissions. Headlines such as “writer sees government conspiracies everywhere” are clearly intended to marginalize. I’ve debated enough new agers throughout the years to have a thickened skin where headlines of this nature don’t bother me. But, having given this community adequate warning, I thought I would alert Ms. O’Leary that I recognize what her staff is doing. I personally believe the Star News’ actions fall beneath the journalistic standards of objectivity as called for by the profession. I invited Star News staff to elevate their levels of professionalism; to read my research and directly challenge my conclusions if they so choose.

Well, this apparently was too much for Ms. O’Leary because it looks as though her staff has become unhinged. The headline placed above Linda Osolkowski’s Vox Pops was clearly intended to direct my attention to their response—a debate which is meaningless to me. I further suspect that editor Brian Wilson’s pen contributed more heavily to that piece than he will ever admit. Had the Star News editorial staff grasped what I’ve been saying over the past several years, they would have recognized that George Bush favors global governance. He participated in putting together a framework which is now in the hands of President Obama. Obama follows the identical path having an outcome which leads to the elimination of national sovereignty and favors global governance.

A more appropriate response from Carol O’Leary might have been, “Dear Rich, the Star News neither seeks to endorse nor oppose any Vox Pops submissions from our readers…” Clearly this is not the case.

I will continue to watch and records the Star News actions regarding this. They might be surprised how many people within this community are aware of my letter to Ms. O’Leary. The chronology of my letter and the Star News’ response to it may be a blog post in itself. Not only will it become visible to those doing a Google search on the Star News, but on the editors associated with the editorial board.

Masters, Avatars and Disciples: An Index of Spiritual Teachers..and where they stand on the evolutionary scale

What's the purpose of posting this link? To show that NA people have their own internally coherent belief system which they have faith in. They have people who they want to emulate. They sell the idea that their beliefs are rational.

What's wrong with the information at the link? It goes against the idea that all men are created equal and are subject to temptation which they must overcome. It makes it easy to accept a system of superior beings living on earth at this time, superior for their intellect and not moral capacity. Think Obama for instance. It doesn't include any standards of morality or respect for the individual.

Just because a cult leader and his followers have fervent belief in a new religious system, it doesn't mean the system has any kind of validity.

Arguing with New Age cult leaders who are skilled in manipulative techniques is a losing battle. If a person has even a moment of doubt, they will exploit it. Their targets are not the street savvy persons; their targets are the open-minded intelligent ones who don't want to offend the mind polluters.
Another warning -- don't be flattered because the mind polluters give a high rank to someone in the Christian or Jewish community.

I'm beginning to wonder if there is any continuing interest in exposing the New Age movement as a whole. There should be, but it's just possible that the New Ager have achieved one of their larger goals, turning the citizenry into passive followers of their New Age philosophy planning.

The world of the New Age leadership is filled with organizations making things happen. The individuals network through organizations whose names never appear in the news. There are political, economic, intelligence, scientific, social, networks for example, that are closed to outsiders, whose information circulates in only their rarified circles. Early on I learned that meetings of the Aspen Institute and the Council on Foreign Relations had agreements with those involved that nothing said in the meetings would reach the outside world. It must be that way with the other networks, blabbermouths get kicked out.

With our freedom of the press one would think that the general public would be aware of what is going on, but alas, we primarily get entertainment news rather than anything substantial. It's said that one of the hardest things to know is what you don't know, and if individuals don't even have a clue what to search for on the internet or in the library, or why they should search for more information, they will never go beyond the daily news they are fed, thinking, as Limbaugh tells them, that the work is being done for them.

When the topic of New Age comes up, what we primarily get are old researched works, discussion of American, European and Israeli politics, new organization names brought to the surface, Biblical references, and speculations on prophecy. We learn little about the New Age movement because there are no leaks from the inside.

What reminded me about this was looking at a book put out by Quest publishers in 1993 called Voices on the Threshold of Tomorrow, 145 views of the New Millennium. 441 pages. Quest is the publisher for the Theosophical Society, a major New Age organization. The 145 views come from 145 different people, many of whose names would be recognized by those who have been researching the New Age movement for years, many obscure names, all with respectable credentials in their own academic fields. The book itself seems not to have had a large audience. It is clear the 145 writers have their own circle of students to whom they preach who may or may not move quietly into the networks the writers are part of. And so the philosophy of the movement spreads. The value of the book to a researcher outside of the New Age networks is the list of organizational names the writers are connected with.

Now the editors, the Feuersteins, are not openly connected with the New Age movement by name, yet the book would have been published under the Quest label if it were not New Age. The writers would not have been chosen if they were not pushing New Age messages.

The sections of the book are:
Opening Perspectives
A Place for Hope and Realism
Visionary Philosophy, Evolutionary Vision
The Social Dimension
Science, Economics and Nature
Minding the Body, Embodying the Mind
The New Morality
Living in Peace and Harmony
Spirituality
Recovering Spiritual Practice

Apparently in the New Millennium we are in, the most important thing for outsiders to learn is to be emotionally adjusted enough to fulfill one's human potential, which seems to have nothing to do with occupations, shelter, clothing, food and other necessities of life. All the writers suggest the same way to be emotionally adjusted. Other than in their brief bios we find no concrete information about their networks or where they have become successful. Obviously they are not emotionally adjusted because they definitely haven't been passive, sitting around being one with the universe. They would not have gotten where they are in their fields without drive, game playing, learning, adapting, and a willingness to learn how their respective networks operate.

It's no wonder that outsider research on the New Age movement seems to have ground to a halt. The insiders may be talking to each other, but they don't talk for public consumption what's going on in their networks. Whatever does come out appears in leaks such as the Ecoamerica paper which says stop using the term "global warming" and sell other terms.
http://www.nytimes.com/2009/05/02/us/politics/02enviro.html. The basic problem for us outside researchers is that the information we have gathered is so fragmented that we almost have no body of information in common with each other.

The following is not an unconditional acceptance of Barry Chamish's views or his acquaintances. While his information about Israeli politics is informative, I do believe he overreacts to Vatican politics, and I disagree with him on those views. Nevertheless, the following should be considered. Keep in mind the article over at Atlas Shrugs, the Paris interview, A LAUGHINGSTOCK IN PARIS which suggests our intelligence service (CIA)also has a mind of its own.
----------
THE MOSSAD'S AMBASSADOR TO WASHINGTON
by Barry Chamish

I knew Israel's new ambassador to Washington, Michael Oren. Now normally, so what? But I have been flooded with letters, petitions and articles asking why this non-diplomat, with one irrelevant book in his CV, was chosen over dozens of high- ranking Foreign Ministry bureaucrats, who toiled for years hoping to be appointed to the highest posting on earth. Let's summarize the confusion with a letter from a longtime source, followed by a phone call from him from Israel:

What an incredibly off the wall pick for ambassador. Absolutely no government service- and the only academic credentials he has is from Shalem Center.
The pick reminds me of Dore Gold but that was to the UN- not US Ambassador. At least had an academic record. Oren is a one time author of a conventional book on one event in Israeli history. What gives?

Why so off the wall? Well for one thing, he opposes, on paper at least, PM Netanyahu's basic security positions:

Netanyahu's candidate for U.S. envoy backs one-sided pullout
By Barak Ravid Haaretz Last update - 06:01 24/04/2009
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1080695.html

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's candidate for Israeli ambassador to
Washington, Dr. Michael Oren, supports a unilateral Israeli withdrawal from
the West Bank and an evacuation of most of the settlements.

Oren, a visiting Georgetown University professor, said in a lecture there
last month, "The only alternative for Israel to save itself as a Jewish
state is by unilaterally withdrawing from the West Bank and evacuating most
of the settlements."

To get to the bottom of the mystery, I have something personal to contribute. In 1979, Michael Oren and I were drafted into the Israeli army on the same day, arrived at the Bakkum Induction Center on the same bus, and became really good buddies in the two days we waited until we were assigned separate units. I ended up a sand-eating drudge and he got the best the army could offer, induction into the Mossad.
Michael looked tall, blond and gentile, so he was given a press card from the Kansas City Star, and toured Middle Eastern capitals as a journalist, not for Kansas, but for Israel. After our service ended, we met and, while I could only describe a bland time in the military, he described his tours of Iraq and Syria, the risks of being discovered, looking down on the Galilee from the Syrian POV, and, I remember this point most clearly, how good the food was in Damascus.
What my correspondents didn't know was the Oren was not a nobody in the Israeli establishment, he was a Mossad, at least, asset, and probably much more than that. And the Mossad has decided to primp and prime him as a future Prime Minister for their purposes, though not necessarily for Israel's good.
A relevant digression: Oren was not the first high-level Netanyahu appointment I knew in Israel. In 1997 he appointed Dr. Dore Gold his UN Ambassador and I knew him somewhat more than superficially. My piano playing pal Bob Blake was friends with the Wouk brothers, and I knew one of them, Joey from our days at Hebrew University. The Wouk's father, Herman, wrote such hit books as The Caine Mutiny and War And Remembrance, the first much better than the second. The Wouk brothers were friends with Dore Gold and we all met at Bob's apartment in the center of Jerusalem on numerous occasions. I liked Dore, I found out, more than he liked me, but I did not consider him UN ambassadorial material.
But once in his new appointment, I understood the reason for his advancement. He began writing articles, endlessly praising the personal advice and written diplomacy of Henry Kissinger. Gold was on board and with my different reading of Kissinger, we were now officially on two separate ships...his, the far more dangerous for Israel.
Two Prime Ministers who came out of Israel's Washington embassy were Yitzhak Rabin and Binyamin Netanyahu. Kissinger was the primary American handler of both. Rabin began, in 1968, a modest kibbutz socialist and ended up going on the electoral stump for Nixon and Kissinger by 1972. During the Yom Kippur War of 1973, Kissinger told PM Golda Meir that if she wanted Israel rearmed, she would have to step down and somehow, appoint the political novice, Rabin, as her successor.
In September 1995, barely a month before he was murdered, Rabin told an unamusing story on Israeli tv. Apparently, Kissinger phoned him to complain about Netanyahu. It seems that he interrupted Kissinger the day before, asking Henry to alter his Golan Heights position. While I got the message loud and clear that both Israel's PM and the leader of the opposition were run by Kissinger, Rabin viewed the story as something that passed for lighthearted.
Rabin was corrupted after he arrived in Washington, Netanyahu was pre-corrupted, but both saw their careers rise by associating with Kissinger's think tank, the Council On Foreign Relations. And Israel pays the price with a government run by a mentality that has nothing to do with its people's actual thinking. And though Israel just elected a right- wing government in a landslide, what they get are rulers about to fete a Nazi pope and, sending a talentless anti-religious cretin named Achinoam Nimni to the Eurovision, a big deal in Israel, but only on her condition that she invite an Arab to sing with her.
In short, voting is a waste of time and change is cosmetic. In Michael Oren, Washington took its first steps to sneaking him in to the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, whether the Israelis or Netanyahu like it or not.
As for who Oren will listen to as ambassador; as everyone says, once in the Mossad, always in the Mossad.
------------
A scorecard would be helpful.

Sorry, I posted the Chamish piece and forgot to sign it.
Please ignore his comment about the Pope. These days all religious groups seem to have a political side which can be questioned, but he overdoes it.

Rich,

I guess through my years of studying the Book Of Revelation and being exposed to those that were incessantly predicting the end of days without merit, I thought the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus was going to be in the much distant future. Now I am not so sure. Clearly, the enemy is at our door knocking if not already crossing the threshold and I know from the Holy Scriptures that the foolish are going to let him in unfettered.
The statement that we live in perilous times is not an understatement to say the least. We, as believers, need to be ever viligent by constantly looking up as our redemption draws nigh.
God Bless you for doing the preparatory work for us. Now our job is to remain steadfast in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The call to battle has begun......
